Sand Screening Washing Line

This is a complete set of sand washing production line equipment. Raw materials flow from the silo into the vibrating screen for primary screening. After separating large aggregates, sand smaller than 5 mm enters the sand washing process.

Note: This vibrating screen can classify crushed stone into multiple sizes, such as 5–10 mm, 10–15 mm, 15–30 mm and so on. The finished aggregate sizes depend on the mesh aperture of screen cloth.

Screened sand goes into wheel sand washers for two consecutive rounds of washing, followed by optional vibrating dewatering. The wastewater discharged from sand washers contains a large amount of fine sand, which must be recovered via a fine sand recycling machine. Recovered fine sand and washed manufactured sand are conveyed together to the finished product stockyard.

Depending on raw material characteristics, the two wheel sand washers can be replaced with spiral sand washers or other twin-shaft mixing washing units.
