Rotary Stone Washer

The rotary drum stone washer relies on the differential sedimentation performance of granular materials with different particle sizes and densities in water medium. Fine-grained and low-density impurities such as mud, dust and silt have a slow settling speed in water, while coarse stones with high density sink much faster.

When the machine is running, the rotary drum continuously rolls and agitates the stone materials together with water. The mud and dirt wrapped on the surface of stones are fully soaked and separated from aggregates under the tumbling friction between stones and the inner wall of the drum. Light impurities, muddy water and fine slime flow out from the overflow outlet along with water.

Meanwhile, the built-in lifting baffles inside the rotating drum keep lifting and turning over stones to strengthen the cleaning effect. Clean stones are gradually pushed forward along the drum and finally discharged from the discharge end. This equipment realizes integrated functions including mud removal, dewatering and stone conveying in one single process.
