Sand Washer

The bucket wheel sand washer is a professional water-washing sand cleaning equipment designed based on the principle of gravity sedimentation and mechanical flipping separation. It mainly removes soil, dust, silt and other impurities mixed in raw sand to obtain clean high-quality construction sand.

During operation, raw sand materials are evenly fed into the water tank of the washer. Driven by the motor and reducer, the bucket wheel rotates slowly and continuously. The sand particles are fully soaked and stirred in the water medium, which can effectively separate the fine mud and dirt adhering to the surface of sand grains.

Due to the difference in particle size and density, light impurities such as mud, dust and fine powder have low settling speed and suspend in the water. These impurities overflow out of the equipment along with circulating water to complete the desliming and impurity removal process. In contrast, clean sand grains with high density sink to the bottom of the water tank.

With the continuous rotation of the bucket wheel, the bucket blades scoop up the settled clean sand, and drain the residual water through the gaps of the bucket during the lifting process to realize preliminary dewatering. Finally, the purified sand is discharged from the discharge port and conveyed to the finished product stack area.

This equipment features simple structure, stable operation, large processing capacity and low energy consumption. It realizes continuous automatic integration of feeding, washing, dewatering and discharging, which is widely used in sand and gravel production lines.
