Hydraulic Double Roll Sand Crusher

Double roll sand making machine, also known as double roll crusher for short, can be divided into spring type, hydraulic nitrogen type and semi-hydraulic type based on gap adjustment modes.

It is mechanical equipment specially designed for crushing and sand making of medium and high hardness ores. It features strong crushing capacity, easy maintenance, few wearing parts, low over-crushing rate and self-protection function.

Applicable materials: River pebble, calcite, quartz stone, marble, bentonite, iron ore, bluestone, mountain rock, water slag, limestone, weathered sand, diabase, granite, basalt and other materials requiring fine crushing with finished particle size of 0–20 mm.

Application fields: Expressway, high-speed railway, high-rise building, municipal engineering, hydropower dam construction, concrete mixing plant, aggregate yard, etc.

Working Principle

The double roll sand maker realizes fine crushing via roller extrusion. Materials evenly enter the gap between two rollers from the feeding port through the distributor and are crushed by the squeezing force of high-speed rotating twin rollers.

An adjustable clearance is reserved between the two rollers. A wider clearance leads to larger output particle size, while the compression springs narrow the roller clearance to produce finer materials. The finished particle size can be precisely controlled by adjusting this clearance.

Motor power is based on 6-pole motors for reference. Double roll sand makers can be equipped with 4-pole, 6-pole or 8-pole motors.

A 4-pole motor requires a larger model, while an 8-pole motor uses a smaller model.

All three types (4/6/8-pole) can meet operational requirements, as the reducer ensures the final rotational speed of the twin rollers remains basically the same.
