Construction waste can be processed with either mobile crushing stations or fixed crushing equipment, which we will introduce separately as follows.

Both fixed and mobile construction waste crushers feature basically identical technological processes and equipment configurations. Their differences mainly lie in investment cost, infrastructure requirements, mobility, as well as minor disparities in production capacity.

There are two working scenarios for construction waste crushing:

1、Large lumps of construction waste mixed with steel rebars, which need crushing and screening for comprehensive recycling;

2、Small pieces of construction waste without steel rebars, which only require simple crushing for reuse.

For large construction waste containing steel rebars that needs crushing, screening and comprehensive recycling, the recommended process is: Feeder + Jaw Crusher + Large-feed Impact Crusher + Vibrating Screen. Magnetic separators shall be installed after both the jaw crusher and impact crusher to remove steel rebars.

For small construction waste free of steel rebars, a simplified configuration of Feeder + Heavy Hammer Crusher or Impact Crusher is applicable. A screening unit can be equipped or omitted according to customer demands.

Optimal crushers for construction waste treatment cover jaw crushers, impact crushers, heavy hammer crushers, standard hammer crushers and double-stage crushers. The specific model is determined based on each customer’s actual working conditions.

The hourly output capacity is customized to customer requirements. Before selecting construction waste crushing equipment, we need to confirm the following information from customers:

1、Conditions of construction waste: whether steel rebars are contained, and the maximum particle size of raw materials. Photos and videos are preferred, and on-site investigation is available when necessary.

2、End application of crushed finished materials, such as backfilling, recycled aggregate production, brick making, manufactured sand production, together with required finished particle sizes. Configurations vary greatly for different applications.

3、Required hourly throughput in tons, investment budget, and preference for mobile or fixed crushing solutions.
