Three-drum Dryer

The three-cylinder dryer is one of the industrial drying equipment series for wet materials. It is a high-efficiency and energy-saving product upgraded based on the single-cylinder rotary dryer. Having been applied by numerous enterprises across various industries, it delivers excellent performance.

The three-cylinder dryer optimizes the internal structure of traditional single-cylinder dryers. It adds pre-drying treatment for wet materials before feeding and extends the drying duration inside the cylinder. Equipped with effective sealing, heat preservation and well-matched auxiliary systems, it boasts a greatly boosted processing capacity compared with single-cylinder models. Its volumetric evaporation intensity reaches 120–180 kg/m³, while the standard coal consumption is merely 10–15 kg per ton of material.

This dryer features mature technology, rational operating parameters and simple operation. It is widely used for drying raw materials including slag, clay, coal, iron powder, mineral powder and other admixtures, dry-mix mortar and yellow sand for construction, as well as feedstock in chemical and foundry industries.

Features of Three-Cylinder Dryer

1、The equipment investment is about 20% of imported foreign models. It is fabricated with 16Mn steel plate, whose service life is about 3 to 4 times longer than ordinary steel plates.

2、The cylinder achieves superior self-heat preservation. Traditional single-cylinder dryers only have a thermal efficiency of 50%, while this model lifts thermal efficiency by around 40%.

3、It supports coal, oil and gas as fuels, and can dry block, granular and powdery materials with particle size below 20–100 mm.

4、Small floor space: Occupies roughly 50% less land than single-cylinder dryers, cuts civil construction investment by about 60% and power consumption by around 40%.

5、The final moisture content can be flexibly adjusted per user requirements, controllable down to below 0.5%.

6、Low exhaust temperature extends the service life of dust collectors by about twice.

7、No large gear transmission; roller supporting transmission ensures stable operation and high equipment availability. Minimal maintenance is required to cut operating costs.

8、Discharge temperature is below 60°C, enabling continuous production and packaging without cooling sheds or warehouses.

9、Wide adaptability: Suitable for drying slag, clay, fly ash, coking coal, ore, lime sand, yellow sand, as well as raw materials for grain and chemical industries.
