Belt Conveyor

Belt conveyors are indispensable conveying equipment in industrial production for transporting all kinds of raw materials. In mining operations, they are commonly used to convey crushed stone, manufactured sand, coal, slag, washed sand, steel slag, various mineral materials and industrial by-products.

According to the motor installation configuration, belt conveyors can be classified into three types: built-in motorized pulley type, external large & small gear drive type, and integrated external bevel gear drive type. All types feature mature manufacturing technology and are capable of meeting production requirements.

Given the wide application of mobile crushing stations, we have also developed various foldable belt conveyors with easy telescopic functions.

Belt conveyors have a wide range of application scenarios and can be manufactured as mobile belt conveyors upon requirements. Here we mainly introduce the application of belt conveyors for transporting mineral materials such as crushed stone and manufactured sand.

Note: During the operation of belt conveyors, the conveying capacity will vary slightly due to influencing factors including the bulk density, moisture content, particle size of materials, inclination angle, belt speed, material bed thickness and feeding uniformity. The above data are for reference only, and the actual value shall prevail on site.

The length of the belt conveyor is determined according to the customer’s site conditions and practical requirements; therefore, there is no fixed standard length for belt conveyors.

The belt on a belt conveyor is the main wearing part. In addition, relatively large materials are discharged under the primary crusher in stone production lines. Protective measures are therefore recommended. Particularly, crushed stone from heavy hammer crushers and impact crushers causes severe impact damage to the belt during feeding, so buffer devices shall be installed.
